Dear Alumni and Friends,
For this issue of Hastings, we are pleased to feature some of the many trailblazing members of the Hastings community. In these pages, you will meet 10 alumni who are making extraordinary contributions to their fields—and who all happen to be relatively recent graduates. You’ll also meet three faculty members who joined Hastings in 2007 and have already established themselves as groundbreaking scholars.
Hastings prides itself in graduating men and women who show uncommon leadership skills and a commitment to improving the world around us. We have seen many of our alumni go on to accomplish great things in business, academia, international law, public service, technology, science, and all throughout our communities. It is particularly gratifying to see how many of our recently graduated alumni are distinguishing themselves as innovators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries—these are the legal leaders we call “Generation Now.”
Whether as patent prosecution attorneys, employment litigators, general counsels at large firms, or judges in California’s courts, our talented alumni draw on the legal foundation they received at Hastings to make a difference in today’s changing world. And they are just the beginning. Consider them an introduction to the countless high achievers among Hastings graduates, whose dedication and passion continue to make us proud.
It is always a great pleasure for us to learn how your career has unfolded. We hope you continue to share with us your stories.
